The installation sequence
Read the governing documents; lay out the reglet; set up fall protection and silica controls; cut or set the reglet; clean; install the base flashing and termination; set the counterflashing the same day; wedge, lap and corner; fill; inspect; report measured sizes back to the fabricator.
Flow of eleven numbered steps from reading the governing documents, through layout, safety set-up, cutting, cleaning, base flashing and termination, same-day counterflashing, wedging and lapping, filling and inspection, to reporting measured sizes back to the fabricator, with a decision on whether existing counterflashing can be reused.

- 5
- Clean with wet methods or HEPA vacuum, no dry sweeping or compressed air
- 6
- Install base flashing and termination to the roof maker's instructions
- 7
- Set counterflashing the same day, or seal the top of the base flashing
- 8
