Mechanically seamed, single-lock, and snap-lock roof panel systems

ROOF PANELS

Roof panels are a different product type from AFS's trim and flashing line: full-coverage roofing, not a bent edge or transition detail. AFS fabricates mechanically double-locked panels (field-seamed with a dedicated seamer, for the highest wind-uplift and slope range), single-lock panels (field-seamed, simpler single-fold leg geometry, more tolerant of minor variation, appropriate for 3:12+ slope with lower wind exposure), and snap-lock panels (factory-formed, no seamer required, hand-engaged bulb/hook leg — a lower wind-uplift rating that makes slope and exposure the deciding factors). Panel width and gauge are project-level choices, not fixed SKUs.
